Jumi-Jami is an audiovisual performance that combines physicality with sonic art. Every pop and snap are audible through the PA system in the intimate ASMR spirit.
Our bodies are versatile, fine-tuned systems that allow us to move and communicate in the world around us. Many of us do sedentary work on computers and mobile devices, getting suspended in set positions and limited trajectories.
As a result, our muscles stiffen and become rigid. Jumi-Jami takes a playful approach, as the human body becomes an instrument and the “jammed” muscles relax during the massaging performance -a pain relieving jam!
About the artists:

Kristina Laine (Žičkutė) is an interdisciplinary artist working in visual art, animation, performance, and collaborative projects. Her practice moves between digital and material processes, combining individual inquiry with community-based projects. She explores how materials and their layered meanings can be transformed into narratives through visual art. Through tactile processes, she examines how making becomes a form of thinking.

Albert Laine is an interdisciplinary artist working across animation, visual arts, electronics and repair. His practice explores socio‑political themes through structured frameworks, emphasizing the tension between freedom and constraint. His output ranges from auteur‑driven moving‑image works to collaborative media art projects.
